Information:
The Princess and Ambassador Owners Club, which is based in the United Kingdom, was started in May 1997 by four enthusiasts, and aims to help owners of Princess and Ambassador cars to maintain, repair, and restore their cars.  During it's first eight years, the club  has gone from strength to strength and currently has more than a hundred members worldwide. We are a friendly small club run entirely by members for the benefit of members, and have no paid staff.  Below are brief details of the clubs services to members.

Spares:
With the increasing passage of time since the last Ambassador was produced in 1984, thoughts are increasingly turning towards spare parts in order to keep the cars on the road.  Some new parts are still available, but these are becoming less as time passes.  In order to address this - wherever possible, the club purchases spares before they become obsolete, for resale to members as and when required, thus enabling them to keep the cars on the road for many more years.  The Club has also purchase a number of service items in largish quantities, which are available to members at reasonable cost.  In addition, we are in contact with several specialist parts suppliers who are often able to find the most elusive parts.

Website:
There are many other benefits from becoming a member of the Princess and Ambassador Owners Club. One of these is the club website. The members page is a highly useful location where members can place adverts for cars or parts they have for sale. The page also serves as a place where requests can be made, be it for a particular model of car they wish to purchase or certain hard to find spares which they require.  In addition, details of all club meetings to which members are invited  are published well in advance.

Newsletter:
A key feature of any car owners club is regular contact with members by means of a newsletter.  All Princess and Ambassador Owners Club members receive a bi-monthly newsletter which is full of information, and is written, printed, and distributed by club members.  As well as the huge array of both technical and general information in each edition, there is also space for cars and parts for sale (or wanted), together with details of the clubs forthcoming and shows and shows.

Rallies:
Throughout the summer months and into the early autumn the club arranges several meetings at interesting locations throughout Britain.  These gatherings are excellent for members, as they are able to share thoughts on the cars, discuss ideas, and look for assistance with any problems which nevertheless occur with older vehicles.  Meetings are usually arranged at the Cotswold Wildlife Park; Burford,  Stanford Hall; Leicestershire, and the Museum of  British Road Transport; Coventry.  In addition to these meetings, the club arranges space at several classic car shows during the summer months - details of which are published in plenty of time on the club website and in the newsletter.   If you are the owner of an 18-22, Princess, or Ambassador in ANY condition and would like to meet with other fellow enthusiasts, then our meetings are the place to be.  You will be made most welcome - there will be great interest shown in your car, and you will have an excellent time.

The cost of membership in the Princess and Ambassador Owners Club for the first year is £20. (£15 annual membership + £5 joining fee payable first year only) - membership becomes renewable annually on June 1st.
