I have recently been trying to track down my father's last car. The car was sold in 1998/9 after my father's ill health stopped him driving, a decision I very much regret. I would love to know where the car is now and if it is for sale. The DVLA still has the car on its database and I have written asking for help in tracking it down but with no help. They have told me that it is still registered to the person who bought it as my father is still down as previous keeper, but will not give me latest registered address. My father passed away some years back and I have always wished to buy the car back. If anyone knows the where abouts of a 1983 silver Austin Ambassador 2.0HL reg no.
