That sounds very nasty Derek - my ""leak"" had splashed up over the exhaust and formed a pool on the diff casing before I switched the engine off and that was only at slow running. I can well see that at road speed and with a hot exhaust there would be a real fire risk. In todays motoring world this situation would be a recall action for sure. Best regds Dave
