I have a 1982 AUSTIN PRINCESS 2227CC AUTOMATIC I am asking for advice on auto transmission. Yesterday we were out for a drive and suddenly when going up a very steep hill the car got slower and slower and the engine revs increased rapidly to about 4500revs, at that point the car came to a stop ,when I lifted the bonnet I found atf fluid all over the engine compartment .[The oil has appeared to have come out of the filler tube] Can anyone tell me why this has happened the car has only done 18000 genuine miles and was running perfectly well before this event, waiting for any advice and thanks for reading, cheers Derek
