re: 4 pot callipers - repair

I could e-mail you a page of the repair manual but it is a straightforward job really. With the calliper removed from the wheel and supported just gently pump the pistons out of their bores, remove the old seals, clean everything with brake cleaner and reassemble using brake fluid as a lubricant. Trouble is though you will probably find that the pistons will be partially sized and the bores and pistons are corroded beyond ""cleaning up"" There are firms that advertise in Practical classic and on line that remanufacture callipers using new pistons and stainless liners. Also firms like Earlpart and Classic spares may have New old stock items for less money than getting your items refurbed. rgds Dave
